Rights and privileges under other laws not affected in certain cases - Nothing in this Act shall affect any rights or privileges, which any unprotected worker employed in any scheduled employment is entitled to on the date on which this Act comes into force, under any other law, contract, custom or usage applicable to such worker, if such rights or privileges are more favourable to him than those to which he would be entitled under this Act and a scheme made thereunder: Provided that such worker shall not be entitled to receive any corresponding benefit under the provisions of this Act and the scheme.
