Delegation of power - The Government may, by notification, delegate any of their powers or functions under this Act, or the rules made thereunder to any officer not below the rank of an Assistant Conservator of Forests, or to any authority, who shall exercise or perform the same, subject to such conditions and restrictions as the Government may specify in the notification.
