Librarian - (1) The Librarian shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose and he shall be a whole time salaried officer of the University; (2) The Librarian shall exercise such powers and discharge such duties and shall have such emoluments, terms and conditions of service as may be prescribed by the Executive Council.
