Definitions - In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) 'Board' meansthe Andhra Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board constituted under section 3; 1 [(ii) ‘Commission’ means the Khadi and Village Industries Commission established under section 4 of the Khadi & Village Industries Commission Act, 1956, (Central Act 61 of 1956);] (iii) 'Chairman', 2 [XXXX], 3 [Vice Chairman], 'Chief Executive Officer' and 'Member' means respectively the Chairman, 2[XXXX], 3[Vice Chairman] and Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board; 4[(iii-a) XXXX] (iv) 'Government' means the State Government ofAndhra Pradesh; (v) 'Khadi' means any cloth woven on handlooms in India from cotton, silk or woollen yarn handspun in India or from a mixture of any two or all of such yarns; (vi) 'notification' means a notification published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette; (vii) 'prescribed' means prescribed by rules made under this Act; (viii) 'regulations' means regulations made by the Board under this Act; (ix) 'State' means the State of Andhra Pradesh;
