Definitions - In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) “Corporation” means the Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure Development Corporation established under section 3; (b) “Government” means the State Government of Andhra Pradesh; (c) “Local Authority” means,-- (i) a Municipal Corporation constituted under any law relating to Municipal Corporations for the time being in force; (ii) a Municipality or a notified Area Committee, constituted under the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965(Act VI of 1995); (iii) a Gram Panchayat, a Mandal Parishad or a Zilla Parishad, constituted under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Act 13 of 1994); (d) “Notification” means a notification published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette; and the word “notified” shall be construed accordingly; (e) “Prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act; (f) “Regulations” means the regulations made under this Act. 4 CHAPTER - II ESTABLISHMENT, CONDUCT OF BUSINESS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CORPORATION
