Resignation of Chairman and Co-Chairman – The Chairman or the Co-Chairman may tender his resignation by a letter addressed to the Co-Chairman or the Chairman as the case may be. Such resignation shall be considered in the council and the council may, by a resolution recorded for the purpose accept such resignation. The resignation tendered shall take effect from the date of such resolution or on expiry of thirty days from the date of tendering resignation, whichever is earlier.
