Fisheries Sciences Extension - (1)The University shall establish the Fisheries Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Fisheries Extension Units for the purpose of,- (a) undertaking extension programmes in a phased manner coveringtheentireStateofAndhraPradeshinsuchmanner as maybedeterminedbytheGovernmentinconsultationwith theBoard; (b) dissemination of information for the solution of problems relating to Fisheries Sciences; (c) establishment of youth clubs for developing the interests of young people in Fisheries Sciences;and (d) for such other purposes as may beprescribed. (2) The Director of Extension appointed under sub-section (1) of section 18, shall beresponsible for dissemination of such information and planning and execution of programmes of extension work based upon the results onresearch.
