Constitution of the University - (1)There shall be constituted in, and for, the State of Andhra Pradesh a University by the name of the Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University which shall consist of a Chancellor, a Vice- Chancellor, a Board of Management, Academic Council, Boards of Faculties, Extension Council and Research Advisory Council. (2) The University shall be a teaching, research, extension and affiliating University. (3) The Universityshall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the saidname. (4) In all suits and other legal proceedings by or against the University, the pleadings shall be verified and signed by the Registrarandallprocessesinsuchsuitandproceedingsshall be issued to, and served onhim. (5) The Headquarters of the University shall be established in West Godawari District.
