Apex Committee - (1) The Government may, by notification, constitute an Apex Committee with such number of members as may be considered necessary. (2) The Committee, constituted under sub-section (1), may exercise such powers and functions as may be necessary to,- (a) laydown the policies for implementation of the provisions of this Act; and (b) give such directions to any farmers’ organisation, as may be considered necessary, in exercising their powers and performing their functions in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
