Penalty for offences not otherwise provided for - Whoever does any act in contravention of any of the provisions of this Act, or of any rule, notification or order made, issued or passed thereunder and not otherwise provided for in this Act shall, on conviction, 2[be punished with imprisonment which may extend upto six months and with fine which may extend upto five thousand rupees.]
