The Academic Council (1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members namely,- (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University; (b) Vice Chairman & Managing Director, New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh; (c) the Directors of Research and Extension; (d) the Deans of the various faculties; (e) the Dean of Student Affairs; (f) the University Heads of Department; (g) the Associate Directors of Research; (h) the Controller of Examinations; (i) two members of the Executive Council nominated by the vice-Chancellor; (j) four persons having special knowledge or practical experience in different aspects of Energy with specialized focus on Renewable Energy nominated by the Vice- Chancellor. (2) All members of the Academic council, other than the ex-officio members, shall hold office for a term of three years. (3) Ten members of the Academic Council shall form quorum for a meeting of the Academic Council.
