BUSINESS OF MEETINGS: (a) Attendance Register at meetings: Members of the Academic Senate attending a meeting shall sign in a Register kept for the purpose before they take their places at the meeting. (b) Seating of members: The members shall sit in such order as the Vice-Chancellor may decide. (c) Order of Business: At every meeting of the Academic Senate, the following shall be the order of business: (i) Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting, if required; (ii) The answering of questions, if any, for such time as will be necessary, not exceeding in any case one hour at each sitting at the discretion of the Chairperson; (iii) Business brought forward by the Executive Council; (iv) Business brought forward by the Vice-Chancellor; (v) Business brought forward by the Faculties and the Boards of Studies; and (vi) Business brought forward by the members of the Academic Senate.
