Penalty for non-compliance with intimation requirements - Whoever, being a Core Data Collection Agency or a requester, fails to comply with the requirements of the Act, shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year or with a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or, in the case of a company, with a fine which may extend to one lakh rupees or with both. 17
