Proceedings under Chapter VIII of Criminal Procedure Code not to apply against child -Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) no proceedings shall be instituted and no order shall be passed against a child under Chapter VIII of the said Code.
