Suspension or removal of Chairman or member - (1) The Government may, for good and sufficient reason, suspend or remove the Chairman or a member, other than an ex-officio member, after giving him an opportunity of showing cause against such suspension or removal and after considering explanation offered therefor. (2) Pending the passing of an order under sub-section (1), the Government may suspend the Chairman or the member.
