Accommodation for prisoners.—The State Government shall provide for the prisoners in the territories under such Government, accommodation in prisons constructed and regulated in such manner as to comply with the requisitions of this Act in respect of the separation of prisoners. COMMENT Direction to consider question of introducing more open air prisons.- For the greater good of the society which consists in seeing that the inmates of jail come out not as a hardened criminal but as a reformed person no management problem is insurmountable.
