Other offences.—Whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or of any rules made thereunder for which no other penalty is elsewhere provided by or under this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 1[six months, or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or with both].
