Overriding effect. - The provisions of this Chapter shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in any other provision of this Act or of any other law for the time being in force. Corresponding Law. - Section 144 corresponds to section 92 - E of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939. Objects and Reasons. - Clause 144 provides for overriding effect of this Chapter over any other provisions of this Act or any law for the time being in force.
