(1) If the Chief Commissioner is of opinion that in local area general partial revision of the records, or a resurvey, both, should be made, he shall issue a notification to that effect. (2) Every such local area shall be held to be under record or survey operations or both as the case may be, from the date of the notification until the issue of another notification declaring the said operations to be closed therein.
