Whoever prints, publishes or gives an advertisement in any media soliciting use of my liquor, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to ten lakh rupees, or with both: Provided that this section shall not ~pply to catalogue or price list or advertisement generally or specially approved by the Excise Officer for the purposes of display at the points of sale for consumer information and education.
